Dear mom,
College has been going alright so far. I love my dorm room and my roommate. We always have a great time studying together, and I don't know what I'd do without her! However, it really sucks because we don't always have the same classes. I don't understand why my friends have to keep leaving me alone when they know I hate it! What if something happened to me? What if she takes too long? I don't wanna be alone! If she stays out too long, how do I eat dinner? I don't know exactly how to cook with this kitchen.. And her dog, I don't know what to feed him! Other than that, my roommate, Alison, always helps me clean up the room and constantly reminds me about my homework. I don't know where I'd be in college if it wasn't for her. Last week was pretty horrible though. I was in my calculus class and for some reason, people seemed to be extremely annoyed of me. No one acted like they would wanna be my friend, but all I did was ask about how to do work. I wasn't sure if what I was doing was right, and I wanted to make sure so I wouldn't fail.. you understand right? And in English, some girl told me that I was doing something wrong, but I was pretty confident in what I was doing... Oh well, she's probably right anyway. Well, that's about it. I'll be sure to update you later if anything else happens, I have to go find where Alison is so she can help me with my homework. Love ya, talk to you again soon!
Love, Alice

Dependent. You definitely emphasized her dependence on your roommate.
Seems like "you're" dependent. Well, your roommate isn't always going to be in your life, and you need to learn how to confront life's challenges on your own. You also should have more confidence in your own abilities and be willing to solve problems on your own. If you believe in your abilities, then you'll be able to succeed on your own.
you are very dependent, good job. treatment: you should go live alone somewhere and try living on your own, also try to get a therapist
You are most definitely dependent on your roommate! You should get therapy and learn to work past this unhealthy dependence on others. You just have to believe in yourself!
